KENNEDALE -- Thelma Stewart Nix, 90, of Kennedale passed away Saturday, March 24, 2012, in Arlington.
Funeral: 3 p.m. Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens.
Thelma was born Nov. 20, 1921, to Erskin and Carrie Lee Stewart in Delta County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Weldon Nix; one son, Michael Weldon Nix; brother, Eldon Stewart; and sister, Frankie Hansell.
Survivors: Left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Stewart Nix of Kennedale; daughter, Sandra Lee Crane and her husband, Richard, of Mesquite; daughter-in-law, Diane Nix of Mansfield; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
