Theodore W. Loehrke age 82 of Highland, IN passed away February 15, 2013; he is survived by his wife Marjorie; four children Angela (Steve) Brenner, Lisa (Phillip) Loehrke-Sichhart, Ted (Sheila) Loehrke, and Mark (Deborah) Loehrke; five grandchildren Nicholas and Natalie Brenner, Grant and Colin Loehrke, and Anneliese Loehrke; one sister Mary Lou Calvert; brother-in-law Robert (Betty) Mantel; many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 19, 2013, 10:00 AM at Kuiper Funeral Home, followed by a 10:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Rev. Edward Moszur officiating; burial to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, February 18, 2013 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM (with a 3:30 PM prayer service) at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd (two blocks south of Ridge Rd), Highland. Theodore was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church, the Highland Jaycees, and the Outreach Ministries of Our Lady of Grace Church; Highland resident for 60 years, volunteer at St. Margaret Mercy Health Center, veteran of the Korean Conflict, employee of Lucent Technologies for 13 years (retired in 1996). Memorial donations can be made to the Outreach Ministries of Our Lady of Grace Church.

I am so sorry for your loss. Ted was such a very nice man. I remember when he volunteered at St. Margaret's he would sit in the station and quietly tell jokes. He had a very good sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
