Thomas R. Abrego, Sr., 78, of Toms River, died Friday, April 30, 2010, at Holiday Care Center, Berkeley Twp., NJ. Born on October 6, 1931, in Plymouth, Pa. to Adam and Elizabeth Abrego, he lived in Woodbridge prior to moving to Toms River. Mr. Abrego was a US Army veteran and a stationary engineer for the Sun Oil Company and Rahway Hospital in Rahway.
Mr. Abrego was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Joseph Tito, his brother-in-law, Theodore Madersky and his niece, Dawn Madersky. He is survived by his son, Thomas R. Abrego, Jr. and his wife Denise of South Plainfield; his three daughters, Terri Abrego and her partner Laurie McGoldrick of Morgan, Donna Weber of Midlothian, Va. and Tracy Roskoski and her husband John of Edison; his seven grandchildren, Brooke Weber of Midlothian, Va., Ashley James and her husband Jon of Conway, SC, Hannah, Emily and Sarah Abrego of South Plainfield and Nicholas and Samuel Roskoski of Edison and his great grandson, Jon Michael James of Conway, SC; his two sisters, Clara Tito and Emily Madersky. He is also survived by his former wives Yolanda and Eileen Abrego.
