GREENWELL, THOMAS E. SR., 79, of Louisville, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 14, 2014.

He was a truck driver for Allied Ready Mix and Holloway Concrete Company. He had also been an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict. Mr. Greenwell was a member of the Shawnee American Legion Post 193 and Teamster Local 89.

He was preceded in rest by his parents, Mike and Leana Greenwell; and his siblings, Bobby, Doris, Hank, Hester and Mel.

Mr. Greenwell is survived by his wife of 60 years, Margaret Greenwell; his children, Beverly Lawson, Christine Wilson (Mike), and Tommy Greenwell (Pat); seven grandchildren, Brian Blake (Shonna), Danielle Brown (Eric), Tessa Mendez (Chris), Michael Wilson (Lindsay), Jennifer Greenwell (Jeremy) and Emily Greenwell (Duncan); 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Alice Taylor (Ron) and Ann Hieatt; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

His funeral service will be on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the O.D. White and Sons Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 2727 So. 3rd Street with interment following in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 2-8 p.m.
