Mr. Thomas J. "TJ" LaBrake of Norfolk, NY passed away suddenly at his home in the town of Madrid on Friday, November 22, 2013. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 26th at 7pm at the Garner Funeral Service. Friends may call at the Garner Funeral Service on Tuesday from 4-7. Burial will be at a later date at St. Mary's Cemetery in Potsdam, NY. Contributions can be made to the family in c/o Trish Deon @9465 St. HWY 56 Massena, NY 13662. Thomas is survived by his wife Shannon LaBrake; daughters Taegan LaBrake, Piper LaBrake, Jadian LaBrake; a son Tyler LaBrake; stepson Austin Phillips; step daughter Alyssa Phillips; his father Thomas E. LaBrake; sisters Tammy (Arthur) Howie, Terri (Kevin) Clemons and Tricia Deon and companion Dan Agen; father in law Chris (Robin) Baxter and his mother in law Debbie Baxter and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is predeceased by his mother Phyllis LaBrake who passed in 2007 and his paternal grandparents Edward and Virginia LaBrake and his maternal grandparents Paul and Delia Paro
Thomas was born on August 22, 1972 in Potsdam, NY to Thomas E. LaBrake and Phyllis Paro. He was a 1991 graduate of Colton –Pierrepont Central School. On August 28, 2004 he was married to Shannon Baxter. He was a woodsman working for his father in law out of Norfolk. Thomas loved hunting, fishing and was a very skilled woodworker.
