Mr. Thomas Stewart "Tommy" Strickland, age 58, of the Murdoch Center, Butner, N.C.
died Friday, March 28,2014 at Beacon Cottage in Butner. Tommy was born in Winston-
Salem, N.C. on July 12, 1955 to the late Hugh G. Strickland and Clara B. "Tup"
Strickland. Mr. Strickland is survived by a brother Gary H. Strickland, and half brother
Ross Strickland. Also surviving are nephews David H. Strickland, Michael G. Strickland
and wife Ashley McKay Strickland, Scott F. Strickland, Bryan Strickland and wife Lori
Strickland and Kevin Strickland and wife Kenda Strickland.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 2,2014 at Forsyth Memorial Park with
Chaplain Willis Herman officiating. Memorials may be sent to Volunteer Services,
Murdoch Development Center % The Strickland Family Beacon Cottage Fellowship
Fund, P.O. Box 3000, Butner, N.C. 27509.
