Gary Rodgers
I met Tom and Carolyn Wells in Ft. Lauderdale in 1991 when involved in business considerations there. In that I am from NE, it was a joy to meet Tom and discuss Lost Creek Ranch where my Grandfather Byrd Rodgers worked when young in the early 1900's. I found Tom to be a true business Icon and often told him to write a book denoting his experiences and beliefs which I found to be truely visionary. Over the years, we have spoken several times and met when I returned to Ft. Lauderdale occasionally that always proved to be a true educational joy to me. Without doubt, Tom Wells was a man who held valued knowledge and experience in business and in life. He is one of the great influences in my life.
Tom is already missed!!
Respectfully,
Gary Rodgers

Mr. Wells was a fine gentleman, he was great to me while I was at the Wheeling bank; and while I was on board with my son fishing off the Fla shores. Bob Moore

Dear Aunt Caroline,
Thanks to you and Uncle Tom introducing my mother to Dick Wells back in the 70's, I have been privileged to be an honorary member of the Wells family. For the past four decades, the Wells family has been kind, loving and generous to my whole family. What a gift it has been to get to know each Wells member over the years. It is a terrible loss for all of us to lose Tom Wells. With my deepest sympathies and condolences, Jane Flemm Flavell

The Wells brothers were well respected by our son, Ed Cox, now deceased, who did business as CCI, a construction company and when he was in a management position with Miller Construction. He did much of the renovation and new construction along Las Olas from the 80's through the early 2000's. Our condolences to all the Wells family. Tom will be missed.

I had the pleasure of doing computer service for Tom and the Wells family for many years. Also enjoyed sharing lunch and conversation with Tom many days. He was a real honest businessman and supporter of the community. He will certainly be missed, but his legacy lives on.

Condolences to all of the Wells family in the wake of Tom III's passing. I always deeply enjoyed working with Tom during my time as Manager at Coldwater Fish Farms. I enjoyed his guidance, insight, and suppport. He was an incredible man! My highlight of every year was when the family would all come out for the Annual meetings in September and we would get to visit with the rest of the family and catch up on events of the past year. I hope all is well with the banks, hotels and restaurants, and especially with each of you. I find it very fitting that Tom and Walt Queen would pass on the same day, they were quite the pair!
Our most sincere thoughts,
Lloyd and Danielle Harding
