Thomas J. Wieltschnig, 99, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013 in Bellevue, WA. He was born on November 14, 1913 in Black Diamond, WA where he met his wife, Lois B. (Gormley) Wieltschnig. Thomas proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II and spent several years on a destroyer in the South Pacific. After his service, he worked on the railroad from 1942 -1977 and ended his career at Burlington Northern. Thomas is survived by a loving family, his wife of 70 years, Lois Wieltschnig, 2 sons: Michael David (Leslie) Wieltschnig and Steven Paul Wieltschnig, 2 grandchildren: David (Leah) Wieltschnig and Amy (Ron) Hinkley, and 3 great grandsons: Cohen, Iain and Gavin. He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters and 1 brother. Thomas was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, The Knights of Columbus and enjoyed spending time outdoors.
