Thomas Williams was born October 13, 1930, in Garland, Texas, to Brad and Maggie Williams. He was the youngest of twelve children. Thomas attended Texas County School District. He met and married Willie Mae Williams on July 6, 1949. Unto this union seven children were born. Myrtle, Tom, Leonard and Elenora were born in Dallas, TX. Eddie, Peggy and Willie May were born in Los Angeles, CA. He also raised his nephews, Sonny Williams, Michael Niles and Ray Williams from a young age. Thomas was a loving husband, father and grandfather. In 1950, Thomas volunteered for the United States Army. He served in the Korean War where he earned a Korean Service Medal with one Bronze Service Star. In 1962, Thomas and his family moved to Los Angeles, CA. Thomas worked for L Z Brown Construction Company in Los Angeles for 20 years, until he retired. When he moved to Los Angeles, Thomas joined Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. In 2005, Thomas and his wife moved to Palmdale, California and there they attended Alpha & Omega Church of God in Christ. Thomas loved music and played the guitar. To pass his love of music down, he bought instruments, for his children and five of them created a band named Noble Explosion. He loved watching football, fishing, reading the Bible and looking at Bishop G.E. Patterson of Bountiful Blessing on the Word network. Thomas leaves to cherish his memory: His wife, Willie Mae Williams: three sons, Tom, Leonard and Eddie; four daughters, Myrtle Ann, Elenora, Peggy and Willie May; two daughter in laws, Josie and Mary; three son in laws, Alan Sr. (Jerry), Walter and Kennard; ten grandchildren, Tom Williams, Jr., Shavonna Williams, Edward Williams, Alan Lewis Jr., Leonard Williams, Jr., Shadeed Denson, Jasmine Greer, Walter, Wynton and William DeBose; eight great-grand, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and mother: his siblings, William, J T, Eddie B, Wesley, Maggie, Betty, James Earl, M B, Brad Jr., Myrtle Lee and Ruby; and son in law Deon Greer.

"On behalf of my mother and family (Margie Williams-Johnson, Tom's sister), our sincere condolences on his passing. Give our love to Willie. You all are in..." Ray Johnson (Rowlett, TX)
