Thurman was one of my favorite people in my church. He always loved and encouraged everyone. His hugs were special every Sunday. Still when I hear anyone sing His Eye is on the Sparrow I tear up thinking of him. He will always be remembered with love at our church.

A life well lived; the kindest, most thoughtful person I've ever had the honor of calling my friend. He & Bess took in lots of strays over the years, providing love, guidance, food and friendship. I was one of those strays. He made the world a better place in so many ways. Godspeed, Thurman, godspeed.

Bogan, Mr. Faulkner was special to me as I was in your house all the time growing up. He was friendly and always had something nice to say. I especially remember his explaining to me how he lost his finger! I think I actually believed him for a while. Anyway, I am very sorry his time here on Earth has ended. You and your family are in my prayers. Phyllis Peck Finney

David and Vicki, I was very sorry to hear of Thurman's passing. I counted him to be a true friend when I was a young man working at Adams. He was one of the most liked, and well thought of, workers at Adams. Thurman counceled me before my marriage, and his advise has stayed with me for many years. Mike Igou

Dear Vicki and David, I was heart broken when I heard about your dad's passing. Thurman was a true gentleman and he will be missed by so many people. His memory is something I will cherish forever and ever. I will miss his BIG hugs and great big smile. Heaven has truly received a blessing and I can just hear his voice in the Heavenly Choir.
May God bless you during this time of grief. Your dad was just the BEST!
