Tim L. Elkins, 59, of Fort Smith, passed from this life March 29, 2015 in Fort Smith. He was born August 11, 1955, in Fort Smith, to the late William (Bill) and Rebecca Elkins. Tim had worked in shipping and receiving for Transkrit Corp. and, most recently, Calvert McBride Printing. He umpired, for 19 years, for the River Valley Softball Umpire's Association. He was also a charter member of Westside Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sister, Vicki Bagwell of Fort Smith; two brothers, Billy Dale Elkins of Texas and Robin Elkins of the home; his uncle, Alfredo Garcia of Fort Smith; his ex-wife, Corinne Elkins of Poteau, Oklahoma, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Tim is also survived by his best four-legged friend, Jamocha.
Graveside services will be 10:00am Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Oak Cemetery Pavilion. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Townsley, Christopher Patillo, Hadden Patillo, Braxton Patillo, Bakari Kelling and Brian Massey.
Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

So sorry to hear of this. I worked with Tim at Transkrit & ran into him off & on since we were shut down. We always had a good visit. We had an extra connection because I knew & worked with his dad at RMB Produce. Prayers for the family.
