Timothy M. Ford,
53, of Indianapolis, departed this life January 5, 2017 surrounded by his family at home. Tim was born March 11, 1963 in Tompkinsville, KY to Rasmus and Idean (Spear) Ford. Tim and his father owned and operated Ford Masonry for 30 years. He then worked at FedEx and most recently with Shelby Concrete. He attended Unity Missionary Baptist Church with his wife Karen. Tim was always dedicated to family. He was a father figure to many and taught responsibility, discipline and respect. He loved the outdoors, and especially loved rides on his four wheelers, hunting and sharing his stories with his grandkids. He is survived by his dear wife, Karen Ford; son, Jeremy (Amanada Catron) Ford; daughter, Cyndi Gregory; step-son, Jamie (Jill) Murray; parents Rasmus and Idean Ford; siblings, Jerry Ford, Terry (Sherry) Ford, Rita (Bill) Rodman, Teresa Key and Tony (Diane Patrick) Ford; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation for Tim will be from 5-7 pm on Monday, January 9th at Family Funeral Care followed by a memorial service at 7:00 pm. Online tributes at: www.familyfuneralcareindy.com
