Tim Oaks was a good man. Looking back, that's the way I will remember him - a good man who does the right thing. Always. I had the privilege of serving with Tim when he was the Communications Sergeant for the 224th Engineer Battalion during a deployment to Iraq in 2005. He was the backbone of the Communications Section, which included both Soldiers & Marines, and he led in a quiet - do as I do / set the example - manner. I am so sad to know that he is no longer with us. And, I will remember him always. RIP, Chief.
