Tom O’Berry Obituary

Virgil Thomas "Tom" O'Berry, 58, longtime resident of Jacksonville, passed away March 20, 2012. He was born in Waycross, GA, son of the late George Thomas and Mildred Louise (Kinnon) O'Berry.

He worked for many years at NADEP at Naval Air Station Jax. Recently he was involved with the Missing in America Project.

Surviving are his loving wife Jean of over 31 years, two children, Jennifer (Clayton) Ulmer, Patrick (Regina) O'Berry, two grandchildren, Scott and Ariana, a brother, Jerome O'Berry, sister, Maxine (Wilton) Sapp and many dear friends.

Visitation will tomorrow, 6– 8 PM Thursday, March 22 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Avenue, Jacksonville, FL. Interment will take place 9:30AM Friday, March 23 at Jacksonville National Cemetery with a Memorial Service following at 11:30AM at Hardage-Giddens Hendricks Chapel. Dr. Vonn Johnson will officiate.

Memorials in his name may be directed to the Missing In America Project.

Jean and Family,
