We are forever grateful for your father's love. Your father Tomas and mother, Aurora back in the 60s and through the years, helped our parents tremendously. Mr. Aceves worked at Southern Pacific Railroad, and he cared so much for our parents and our livelihood. He was instrumental in helping our father, Refugio Rocha Fernandez, get a job where he worked at Southern Pacific Railroad in Los Angeles, California, and a home with all its essential furniture, for our mother, Crisanta Rocha Fernandez and us kids as we were each born a year or so apart in Fontana, California. He and his wife at that time taught our father to be responsible to his wife and family. He made surprise visits to the home and we were always joyful to see him as well as all our father's work buddies from the railroad. They would tell us stories about each other and describe the trains and their work. As children, we loved to learn about trains. One brother, Raul, made it a lifelong hobby to collect trains and build layouts of railroad track yards. We love your family as brothers, sisters, and parents the same.
