Tomasa Arevalo Naranjo of Taft, Texas, passed away on November 27, 2017, she was 92. Tomasa was born in Woodsboro, Texas on December 19, 1924. She loved to garden and loved her children. She was a homemaker all her life and a member of Immaculate Conception Church.
Tomasa was preceded in death by her husband, Miguel Naranjo and two daughters: Elisa Saldana and Herminia Tijerina. Tomasa is survived by Twelve children: Arturo (Norma) Naranjo, Felix Naranjo, Lucia Carrera (Agapito), Adelfa Moreno (Leandro), Elvira Esquivel, Elva Tamez, Aurora Martinez, Miguel Naranjo Jr. all of Taft and Fidel Naranjo & Adolfo Naranjo of Houston, and Delia (Luis) Jaime of Corpus Christi, and Tomas Naranjo of Bay City. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with Rosary Recited at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Taft Memorial Park
