PELESHOK, Tony
Passed away at his home in the early hours of Friday, January 29th, 2016 shortly after his 89th birthday. Born to the late John and Pauline Peleshok of Oshawa, he was predeceased by four of his siblings, Mary (Hobbs) (Jack), Steve (Rose), Alex (Dorothy) and Bill (Judy) and is survived by his brother Harry (Audrey). Husband of the late Ruth Peleshok and father to Anna (Doug) Roth, John (Dorothy), Susan (Bruce) Mitchell, Lois (Robert) Savage, David (Diane) and Grace (Domenic) Vescio. Grandfather to Rebecca (Josh), Victoria, Dan, Sharon (Owen), Ken (Shelly), Heidi (Dave), , Angela (Bryan), Jesse, Danielle (Clayton), Julie, Nick, Sam, Crystal (Lee), Richard, Rachael, Heather, Jay (Christine), Mike (Rebecca), Angelina and Caterina. Great grandfather to Hope, Grace, Cole, Andy, Ellie, Emma, Bea, Asher, Keenan, Finley, Ryker, Jude, Max and Noah. Having apprenticed as a plasterer in Oshawa he also worked in General Motors for 39 years. He was involved in the Oshawa City Council and Regional Council for many years. His love of music allowed him to play in both a Ukrainian orchestra as well as the Oshawa Symphony Orchestra. A memorial service will be held at CALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH, (formerly the Wesleyan Methodist Church), 301 Rossland Rd. E, Oshawa on Friday, March 11th at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Calvary Baptist short term mission program or a charity of your choice.

He was a nice man, friendly, warm & very caring. He showed his faith to the public by loving his family & serving in his church & community.
