Treva Lorine Sirk, 77, of Harrisonburg, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016, at Avante of Harrisonburg.
She was born on August 19, 1938 in Bergoo, West Virginia and was the daughter of late Agatha Violet (Woods) and Aaron Winfred Skidmore.
She was united in marriage on March 16, 1968 to Ransel Cody Sirk in West Virginia.
Mrs. Sirk was a devoted and loving mother to her children, and her cat; and a devoted wife to her husband.
She was preceded in death by her brother Gary Lynn Skidmore.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Sirk is survived by her son, Aaron Sirk and wife, Shauna of Cedar Grove, Tennessee; her daughter, Danielle Sirk Morris and husband, Matthew Scott of Harrisonburg; her sister, Joye Lenore Stutler and husband, Jerry of North Carolina; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be at 6:00 pm on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Harrisonburg Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Sifa Potauaine officiating. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Harrisonburg Seventh-day Adventist Church Building Fund, 609 W Market St, Harrisonburg, VA 22801.
