NEWSPAPER OBITUARY FOR TROY WAYNE BOHLANDER Jr. WELLING, OK- Funeral services for Troy "Little Troy" Wayne Bohlander Jr will be held on Thursday August 1st, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Reed-Culver chapel with Pastor L.B. Wildcat officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 31st, 2013 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Reed-Culver Chapel. Interment will be held in Park Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has request that any memorial contributions be sent to Bohlander Memorial Fund P.O. Box 133 Welling, OK 74471. Pallbearers for "Little Troy" as his family knew him, include Justin Davis, Cole Welch, Cory Welch, Dylan Welch, Kyler Welch, and Chance Welch. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brian Welch, Steven Welch, Randall Welch, Brent Smith, Mitchell Sanders, and Joe Ballard
Troy Wayne Bohlander Jr. was born on October 8th, 1977 in Tulsa, OK the son of Troy Wayne Sr. and Vicki Lynn Bohlander. He attended school in Tahlequah, OK. On March 24th, 2000, he married the love of his life, Amy Kathleen Wyers in Bentonville, AR. This union was blessed with 13 years and three wonderful sons, Evan, Jaden, and Jayce. Troy was a carpenter by trade and attended of Calvary Indian Baptist. He was an avid outdoors man that loved to fish, hunt, garden, and spend time at the creek. A balance of work, fun and time with his family was important to Troy, because of his love for his children as well as all of his family. Troy had a great sense of humor and always had to make everyone laugh. He would do anything for anyone, especially his family, and had a big heart that will carry on our memories forever. He was devoted to his family which he showed by his hard work and all the love he had for them. The Lord called Troy home from his labors on Saturday, July 27th, 2013 at the age of 35.
Troy was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Connie Welch, Troy Bohlander, and Pat Bohlander
Those left to cherish his memories are: his wife, Amy Bohlander, three sons, Evan, Jaden, & Jayce Bohlander, all of the home, his mother, Vicki Collins and husband Mike of Sallisaw, his father, Troy Bohlander Sr. of Welling, two sisters, Tressa Simmons and husband Jason of Tahlequah and Kaylynn Bohlander of Tahlequah, three nephews, Jesten and Caleb Simmons of Tahlequah, and Justin Davis of Welling, three nieces, Jessica Parnell, Ashley and Kristen Young all of Tahlequah, grandmother, Tressa Welch of Park Hill, mother-in-law, Sandra Wyers of Tahlequah, Many aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends and other loved ones. Troy will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
