VALKEMA, Trudy (nee van Scheltinga) – Passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Reinder (1975). Survived by her sister Baukje Cnossen, her brother and several nieces and nephews in Holland. She was the loving aunt of Alice and Jack De Goeij and their children Richard (Lucy), Tanya (Chris) and Alicia (Shawn) and their families. Trudy was the most loved and constant friend of the Regnerus family; Bob, his children and grand-children. She loved us unconditionally and we will miss her. A Memorial Service celebrating Christ's work in Trudy's life will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Trinity Orthodox Reformed Church, 99 Scott St. at 11:30 a.m. A private burial will take place prior to the service at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.
