Twila baby sat with my brother, Ernie and me, in 1947, while our mother was in the hospital having a new baby. In those days, the new mother was in bed in the hospital for at least 10 days and then came home and was in bed for another 10 days. So Mum needed help. And we were thrilled that Twila would be living with us during that time. First of all, she was beautiful. Not only that, she was fun. That was a hard combination to beat for the 5 and 6 year old kids we were then. We had a great time while Twila was with us and we loved her and kept up with her life through our mother.
Thank you, Twila, for good memories.
