Mrs. Cook was a contemporary of my Mother's (Madeline Beck) and one of the last surviving founding members of the Holy Infant Catholic Church in Elkton, Virginia. My sympathies to her friends and family.

I have very fond memories of living with my grandparents, Madelyn and Walter (Snooks) Wade of Shenandoah, and going over to Aunt Sis' house to talk about the latest news in the Valley. I also fondly remember the strong bond between my granddad and his beloved sister, Aunt Sis. God Bless. Love, Michael, Sharon and Brigid.
