Ura has been a very dear friend for a very long time. Ken went to highschool with Ura & Jack. Ken stood up at Ura & Jack's wedding & Jack stood up for our wedding. We have many fond memories of the things we did together with their family. We were unable to attend the service for Ura to express our condolences to Lois, Roger & family but want you to know our thoughts & prayers are with you. Ken & Violet Brickler

She was my grandma...she was sweet, fiery, full of energy and loved her family. I had the pleasure of enjoying her meals, grandpa Freds dirty jokes at the dinner table, and my uncle Roger making sure everyone smiled. We are family. and not a day goes by I am not remembering the good times we shared, I live 6 houses down on Delaware where they lived so every time I drive past I think of both of them, and my family. I love all of you, and even though she is gone...the memories remain.

Lois and Roger, My mom, Alice, and I send you our deepest sympathy in the loss of your mother. Mom reminds me that my dad, Delbert H., and your mom, went to Lanphier together, and in later years, while we were growing up on the north end, they would run into each other and really enjoy some "stories". They both had a great sense of humor and had fun with the memories. Dad was also involved in singing, and I bet their voices are blending together now eternally. Thoughts and Prayers to you and your families.

What a wonderful lady! Was blessed to have spent many nights with her as a young girl while she and mom sang in Sweet Adelines and had quartet practice. Loved playing with the yorkies! I hope she and Fred are enjoying their reunion in heaven. Prayers with you all during this time.

Cori, Scott, & Megan - What a great "Gramma" she was to you guys. Many great visits and "sleepovers" at their Delaware Dr. home, and, as many others have mentioned here in their "memory entries", she and Grampa Fred did know how to "entertain". She was a good Mother-In-Law, and loved the singing with Sweet Adelines. Now she is at peace, and may your families, Uncle Roger (& his family), and your mother find many lasting memories in those moments shared with her over all the years.

Ura was a very special lady who always brought a smile to your face whenever her name was mentioned. Delaware Drive has never been the same since she left. She is now at peace and reunited with Fred. They are having a cocktail as we speak. Keeping you all in our prayers.

Many precious memories of growing up in Wesley Church, with Ura being one of my unofficial mothers. She was always ready to help raise me, and my mother was happy to have the help. When I got older, I appreciated learning to relate to her as a friend. A very appreciated and cherished friend and part of my life.

I worked with Ura at IDOT back in the 60s and early 70s. Was there when Jack died and she met and married Fred. She was such a lady at all times, always smiling and kind to everyone. I had lost contact with her and so sorry to know she had health issues. So sorry you have lost your precious mother, Roger and Lois. We had a lot of fun times when we were young and I have good memories.

Ura was a fantastic lady and a joy to be near. I considered her my "second mom" during my early years in high school growing up as one of Roger's closest buddies. Roger and I tested her patience with our pranks and shenanigans. She treated me as one of her own with love and patience, but put me in my place when I needed it. (Just like a mom) I will always remember her fondly and my wife Earlene and I offer my deepest and most sincere condolences to you, Roger, Lois and family.
God bless you.

We loved her dearly. She always had a smile and loved to visit. She also loved those cocktails with Uncle Fred at 4:30 every evening. They enjoyed life so much. She loved Lois and Roger so much and was so proud of those grandchildren. She will be missed but I know she will be having cocktails again at 4:30. Prayers to Lois, Roger, Cori, Scott, Megan and Ashlee.

Gorgeous, funny, excellent cook, host extraordinaire, devoted woman of faith, always willing to listen to troubles of others & offer help in a resolution. Never a day until Alzheimer's took over did I see one hair out of place! You have helped shape my soul forever! Your passing is bittersweet to me, I am so relieved that you no longer suffer or are alone, but there is a piece of my heart that is gone to! I love you so much and remember every minute of everytime I spent with you and Papa, then just us! I know Papa is much happier now having his love reconnected with him! I will miss you everyday for the rest of my life! I love you so much!
