Ursula Charlott Agnes Cook, 86, went to be with her heavenly father on Saturday, Nov. 26 in Eufaula, OK. She was born on June 9, 1925 in Berlin, Germany to Otto A. and Frieda E. Unger. Ursula attended the Berlin Technical University before meeting her husband Msgt. James W. Cook and subsequently moved to the States. One of her proudest moments was becoming a U.S. Citizen. She enjoyed oil painting, sewing, crocheting, knitting, solving crossword puzzles, playing dominoes as well as ice skating and skiing. Ursula worked at Tinker Air Force Base for many years as an Electrical Engineer before retirement. She loved spending time with...
Ursula Charlott Agnes Cook, 86, went to be with her heavenly father on Saturday, Nov. 26 in Eufaula, OK. She was born on June 9, 1925 in Berlin, Germany to Otto A. and Frieda E. Unger. Ursula attended the Berlin Technical University before meeting her husband Msgt. James W. Cook and subsequently moved to the States. One of her proudest moments was becoming a U.S. Citizen. She enjoyed oil painting, sewing, crocheting, knitting, solving crossword puzzles, playing dominoes as well as ice skating and skiing. Ursula worked at Tinker Air Force Base for many years as an Electrical Engineer before retirement. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Ursula is preceded in death by her husband and parents, as well as two sons, James Alfred Cook and Peter Eugene Cook. She is survived by her daughter Patricia Christine Wilke and husband Keith of Eufaula, OK, son John Randolph Cook of Lakewood CO, son Friedrich Corneilus Cook and wife Sandy of Oklahoma City, OK, as well as 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 2 PM here at Sunny Lane Funeral Home Chapel.
