Valerian (Val) Brejwo, 63, of Afton, NY left us unexpectedly in the early morning hours of Monday August 4, 2014. Val was predeceased by his parents Walerian and Katarzyna Brejwo; two brothers, Eugene and Francis Brejwo; and a grandson, Brian D. Lynn, Jr. Val was born in Hann Munden, Germany November 23, 1950 and moved with his family to Brooklyn, NY. In later years, Val moved to Afton, NY and was an employee of General Electric, Martin Marietta, Lockheed Martin and BAE Systems, Endicott, NY for 31 years. Val took great pleasure in spending time with family and being the resident "photographer/video-taker" for numerous family functions and events. The smile on his face and his antics kept us on our toes and always with a good laugh. He enjoyed working with his computers, hearing about Michael and Dylan's race night adventures, watching Aubree, Halee and Crystal's field hockey games and Brandon's football games. He was always up for trying to compete with the boys that typically left him with a few bumps and bruises - but, it was all in good fun - and for love of the laughter. Val is survived by three brothers: Henry ("Tony") A. Brejwo (Betty), Austin, TX; Bogdan Brejwo, Boiling Springs, SC; Thaddeous Brejwo (Linda), Whipple, OH; two sisters, Monica Boorboor (Frank), Scottsdale, AZ; and Veronica McElroy (Ernie), Hancock, NY, and many beloved nieces and nephews. The Love of His Life, Sharon L. Tripp, survives Val, along with her family; Terri Lynn (Jules Piroli), Vestal, NY; Tina (Robert) Riegel, Harpursville, NY; David Robinson, Afton, NY; Christopher Robinson (Raechel Brill), Harpursville, NY; Five special granddaughters, Courtney, Amber, Crystal, Halee and Aubree; Three special grandsons, Michael, Dylan and Brandon; and one great-grandson, Brian D. Lynn, III. A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, Port Dickinson, NY officiated by Pastor Brian King. Family will receive friends and family on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Arrangements under the direction of Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, Binghamton, NY.
