Our loving mother, Valia Niboli, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at age 89. She was born on January 9, 1924, in Tranquillity, California, to Pete and Bruna Gragnani.
Valia was widely regarded as a sweet, kind lady by all who knew her. She was renowned for her Italian cooking and friendly hospitality. She was a community leader and very involved in Grange and VFW Auxiliary.
The family would like to thank Barbara Crawley for taking such wonderful care of mom this past year during her illness.
She was preceded in death by Gene, her husband of 66 years.
She's survived by her daughter, Beverly and her husband Buck Morrow; son, Ken and his wife Marie; grandsons, Brian and Gino Morrow; and granddaughter, Gina and her husband Erik Rotondo.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Therese Catholic Church on Monday, March 18, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
Remembrances may be made to Nancy Hinds Hospice; St. Paul's of Tranquillity Building Fund; or the donor's favorite charity.
