The Rock School alumini are heart broken to hear that Bill had died. He was a staunch supporter of our news letter and looked forward to it. Bill was a very unique individual no sadness around him.
The School gathering will surely miss him.
Memories of Bill will linger for a long time.

Mr. Abel meant so much to my husband, Andrew Chester, and myself during our many days at Gateway. He was such an inspiration to me and I stopped by each time I went to Gateway to visit my husband. He always had a smile for me and such a good outlook on life. I missed him so much after Andy passed away but called to check on him several times. He will be greatly missed.

To the family of Mr. Abel we would like to express our deepest sympathy. Mr. Abel was across the hall from my father, Andrew Chester, at Gateway and my mother, Thelma Chester and I would see him almost everyday when we visited my father. My father passed in mid April and we have not had the strength to return to Gateway as it is so hard emotionally to return so soon. However, we have often thought of Mr. Abel and how much we miss him. He was always so pleasant to be around and had the best outlook on life. He was a true inspiration to us. We will miss him greatly. You have our sincere condolances and we will keep you in our prayers.

A special memory I have of Uncle Bill, is how he used to come visit us when I was a little girl. He would always ask, "Are you married yet?" I thought it was the funniest thing for him to ask that! Uncle Bill was a sweet man, and I always looked forward to going to see him at his apartment, (up those big stairs). Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Although it is sad that he is gone, it is also occasion to rejoice, since he is now happy and well in his eternal home! With love & sweet memories, Sherry "Houck" Peacock & Family.
