Vanessa Martinez, 48, of Houston, Texas, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2017. Vanessa was born in Houston, Texas on May 19, 1969. She married Pablo Romero Sr. on April 8, 1995.
Vanessa had a career in healthcare for Texas Home and Health. Vanessa had a passion for music and cooking and being with her family, but her greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother.
Vanessa was preceded in death by her parents Samuel Martinez and Teresa Muñiz Martinez, and daughter Teresa Guadalupe Romero.
Vanessa is survived by her husband of 25 years Pablo Romero Sr., children: Gabriela , Pablo Jr., and Monica, and grandchildren Alyssa, Kaelynn and Savannah. She is also survived by two brothers, Sam and Richard, both of Houston, in addition to countless of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Brookside Funeral Home from 5 pm to 8 pm. The funeral service will be on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Brookside Funeral Home at 11 am following the interment at Brookside Memorial Park.
