BADGER, Vera Beryl (nee Mason) Passed away peacefully on February 13th at Trinity Nursing Home located in Kitchener, Ontario. Wife of the late Richard (Dick) Badger and Mother to Nancy Badger (Hamilton), Patricia Badger (Kitchener), and Mark Badger (Newmarket). Vera Badger was 91 years of age when she passed away. She was the proud Grandmother of Chantal and Maeve Badger, as well as Mother-in-law and friend to Walter Graziani and Nancy L.C. (Clarke) Badger. Mrs. Badger was born in England and was a resident of St. Catharines for most of her life prior to retirement, when she moved to Grimsby, ON where she lived overlooking Lake Ontario....
BADGER, Vera Beryl (nee Mason)

Passed away peacefully on February 13th at Trinity Nursing Home located in Kitchener, Ontario. Wife of the late Richard (Dick) Badger and Mother to Nancy Badger (Hamilton), Patricia Badger (Kitchener), and Mark Badger (Newmarket). Vera Badger was 91 years of age when she passed away. She was the proud Grandmother of Chantal and Maeve Badger, as well as Mother-in-law and friend to Walter Graziani and Nancy L.C. (Clarke) Badger. Mrs. Badger was born in England and was a resident of St. Catharines for most of her life prior to retirement, when she moved to Grimsby, ON where she lived overlooking Lake Ontario. She received degrees in languages and library science from The University of Toronto, McGill University in Montreal, PQ and Tuffts University in Boston, MA. She was known to many residents of St. Catharines and Grimsby for the help she gave while working and volunteering at various library branches. Mrs. Badger was also known for starting the St. Catharines chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, as well as for her work with various charitable organizations.

Visitation for Vera Badger will be held at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street 905-684-6346, on Saturday, February 27, 2010 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. The Funeral for Mrs. Badger will be held on February 27, 2010 at 1 p.m. at St. George's Anglican Church, 83 Church St. St.Catharines, Ontario. The family of Vera Badger has asked that donations be made to the Canadian Alzheimer's Society in lieu of flowers. On-line condolences may be made at www.hulseandenglish.com
