V. Marie Collins, 89, of Caldwell, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011 at West Valley Medical Center, Caldwell. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 18th at Park View Cemetery, New Plymouth. Condolences may be made to Marie's family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com.
Marie was born on Jan. 16, 1922 in Council, ID to Frank and Vera Cossitt. She grew up and attended schools in Council and New Plymouth. She married Ray Bullington in Dec. 1942. They had four children and were later divorced. She married Burl Collins. He preceded her in death in 1970.
Marie was a longtime member of the Nampa and Caldwell Eagles Lodge. She enjoyed dancing, loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. She loved her family. She was Grandma "Jo" to her grandchildren and loved spending time with her great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Gene Bullington (Dollie) of Aumsville, OR, Sharon Schoorl (Garrett) of Nampa, Roy Bullington (Icel) of Fruitland, and Jim Bullington (Jeannie) of Riggins; 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Her parents, her husband, and three brothers preceded her in death.
