When I would phone, I listened to Louis on the recording and waited for the beep! Then I would always say, "Vera Svetik, are you there?" You picked up seconds later 99out of 100 times! I always asked you, "How are you feeling and you would always reply, "Fine, now that I'm talking to you!" We always laughed at that! I miss you so much, kid!

Dear Vera, I will always remember you and the fun times we had together on 11th Street. It was a short moment in time when we were so young and innocent but you have left me with sweet memories. I can still picture you smiling, laughing and dancing in your white go-go boots. I hope you're dancing with the Angels now. Rest in peace my friend, until we meet again. Love, Ada
