Vernon was such a kind and gentle man, and we are glad he passed those wonderful traits on. His face lighted up when talking of his children and grandchildren. This past January as we celebrated our birthdays together, I was delighted to see Dale wheel Vernon into Garozzo's to celebrate with us. Not only did Jeanette bless our family when she married Dale, but she blessed us with a wonderful extended family as well. Rest well, Vernon. We will miss you.
Prayers and blessings to Dale & Jeanette, Doris & John, Diane and the rest of the family.

Other than giving us two wonderful nieces, the greatest gift my sister Jeanette Hull Hiebert ever gave our family was to make Dale and his family part of ours. We absolutely adored Vern. Our lives were enriched in so many ways by knowing this kind, loving man. Even though we know he suffered mightily during his lengthy illness, he maintained his sweet spirit. His was a life well lived, and the world was made a much nicer place by his presence. Dale and Jeanette, Doris and John, Diane, and the rest of the Vern's family are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We send our love.
