Dear Rosemary, Paul, Lauren, and Anna
I will miss Vicki so much. I will tell you about a few of my favourite memories: She loved Elvis and when we visited her in Shreveport, we would listen to his records on her portable record player in her room. Candy, her first dog, would actually smile at you. I know she was not able to have pets living on base, but she made up for that in later years. We use to ride our horse Lady around Chilton and one time the saddle was not cinched up tight enough and we both fell off when we galloped around a corner. I loved taking wedding pictures for Vicki and Paul.
We had so much fun together as kids. I will truly miss my third sister. Ginger

Vicki was always so nice to me. It was many years ago now that, as a teenager, I managed to jump my mom's car over the curb and run over your fence. That was a memorable event for obvious reasons, but it is also my strongest memory of Vicki. I was a kid and was so scared to face you both after the accident, but Vicki treated me with such kindness and compassion. That left a huge impression on me. I had even shared that story with my own daughter recently, when she had a little mishap and was scared to face us. I told my daughter about my loving neighbor who could have reacted so differently, but she chose to respond with forgiveness and grace. I am so sorry for your loss and am praying for you all.

My dear Rosemary, Paul & Lauren...
It is with deepest sympathy that I write this brief note to you. I was so saddened to learn of the passing of Vicki... she was so young! Though I had not seen her and Paul in a number of years, I shall never forget those many happy times that we all shared back in the early '90s when the families would get together for those wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas visits and dinners. Those are fond memories that I shall always cherish.
Rosemary - you and Chuck, and of course Frances and Herbert, were so good to me back when I was going through a really difficult period in my life with my divorce and all. You guys helped get me through those days and I shall forever be indebted to you for all that you guys did for me.
Paul - you and Vicki (and little Lauren) were a delight to share those holidays with. You seemed to be so young and now she is gone. I just can't believe it.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you, not just during this period of loss, but always.
May God bless Vicki and may the perpetual light shine down upon her.
Much love & respect,
A W
