Vicki was my next door neighbor on Blairview for almost 10 years. I felt so lucky to have her as a neighbor. She was one of the best looking women in Dallas, and infact she dated Mickey Jr several of those years. Being my olders brothers age I had a special friendship with her that last for years. She was so kind and honest, she will be greatly missed and wish her family the best in the challenging times.

Vicki, Everywhere I look, I see wonderful memories of you. Your love and kindness will never be forgotten and forever lives in my heart. You are such a true light to so many that earth was a better place with you in it. However, I know God has a special place for you in heaven instead. You were always there for me and I thank you and your wonderful husband, Jim for all of your love and inspiration. I also pray that God's comfort will help Jim and your family get through this time of sorrow and heartbreak. God's love, strength, and comfort is forever yours. May you rest in heavenly peace Vicki. We will miss you dearly until we meet again.

Jim, and Andrew,
Vicki was a wonderful, fun, kind, and generous person. She love to give because she knew the Lord Jesus had given her so much. I loved that about her. I appreciate the kindness she demonstrated to my family, my husband especially. It is amazing how God plucked this flower right out of the garden. I thank Him, that he didn't let Vicki suffer too long. I will miss her fight for our liberties, but now she is "free" indeed! May our Lord bless you both with comfort and peace.

Jim and Andrew:
I loved Vicki like a sister. No matter how much time had passed since the last time I spoke with her, I could pick up the phone and call her and it was like no time had ever passed. We had a lifelong friendship that will never be replaced. I will be out of town on Friday on a long awaited family vacation and I know that Vicki would be smiling down telling me to go and enjoy. I will be there in spirit and will be thinking of her and her family and friends tomorrow. I know that many from the HHS class of 1971 will be there and many from the "EL GROUPO"(a special group of close high school friends). God Bless!

Surely the Lord welcomed Vicki with open arms and many angels were joyful when she came home to heaven. She was so generous in every way, kind and caring to all. There was no one who crossed her path that was not warmed by her love and made stronger by her faith.
Vicki was a dear friend and her memory of great days together in Fiji, Italy and California will remain with me forever. With love, Helen Barr, NYC

I so remember Vicki's infectious smile and laugh. May God bring comfort to your family.

After reading the entries from Vicki's friends I felt a shadow pass over my heart. I knew her only from my childhood as a fellow student and friend at Preston Hollow Elementary School but of the youth I knew has left for a better place. I listened to the Hymn " Come thou fount of every blessing" and was comforted by the tune and thought these words were appopriate for what I learned about Vicki from this Guest Book:

"Come Thou Fount of every blessing
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace;
Streams of mercy, never ceasing,
Call for songs of loudest praise.
O that day when freed from sinning,
I shall see Thy lovely face;
Clothèd then in blood washed linen
How I'll sing Thy sovereign grace;
Come, my Lord, no longer tarry,
Take my ransomed soul away;
Send thine angels now to carry
Me to realms of endless day."
