Victoria A. Miner, age 89, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014 in Canton, Ohio. She was born on June 8, 1924 to Jacob and Anastasia (Ganea) Plesia in Louisville, Ohio. Victoria graduated from Louisville High School. She also graduated from the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing and became a Registered Nurse. Victoria enjoyed garage sales, spending time with her grandchildren, and traveling with her husband.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Miner Sr.; brothers, George and John Plesia; and sister, Sylvia Vliet. Victoria is survived by her children, Robert (Cindi) Miner Jr. and Janet Miner; grandchildren, Michael David Miner and Angi Hofacre; great-granddaughter, Anastasia McCray; sister, Eugenia Pope; and brother, Earl Plesia.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 4, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Memorial contributions can be made in Victoria's memory to the Susan G.
