Annarummo Vincent F.
89 of Peach Street Swansea died Friday March 25, 2011. He was the husband of Kathleen (Tafe) Annarummo. Born in Bristol RI he was a son of the late Antonio and Lucia (Abenante) Annurummo.
Vincent served in the Army during WWII in Battery A 312th Field Artillery Battalion in the European Theater. Vincent received the European African Middle Eatern Theater Campaign Ribbon, the good conduct medal, American Theater Campaign Ribbon and the Victory Medal.
He was an avid fan of New England auto racing. He worked as a meat cutter at Bakers Farm.
He was a resident of Swansea for 58 years.
He is survived by a son Vincent F. Annarummo Jr. and his wife Joanne, a daughter Nancy (Annarummo) Brodeur and her husband Robert all of Swansea. He has 3 grandchildren Todd Annarummo and his wife Janet of Swansea, Lisa Annarummo of Johnston and Ryan Brodeau of Swansea, one great grandchild Ty Vincent Annarummo.
He leaves 2 brothers Pasquale of Warren and Salvatore Annarummo of Rumford. He was the brother of the late Louis, Carl, and Nunzio Annarummo and Lucy Silvia.
His funeral will be Tuesday March 29, 2011 at 8:30 am from WILBUR-ROMANO Funeral Home 615 Main St. Warren with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 530 Gardner's Neck road, Swansea. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery Swansea. VISITATION MONDAY 4-8 pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Swansea Veterans 68 Stevens Road Swansea MA 02777.
