Vincent Pantaleoni Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 9, 2017.

Vincent Angelo Pantaleoni passed away on January 6th, 2017 at the age of 94. He was born in the North Beach area of San Francisco, California. Son of Antonio and Teresa Pantaleoni, Vincent was a resident of Santa Clara for 39 years.
After graduating from Commerce High School, Vincent was employed by Standard Oil Company while attending night school at UC Berkeley. When Standard Oil and Texaco Oil created Arabian American Oil Co., Vincent transferred to New York where he attended Pace University. He graduated in business administration with a major in accounting. Vincent then relocated to Arabia where he worked for Aramco Oil Company for 32 years.
Vincent loved spending time with his family and friends, traveling, enjoying good food, movies and plays.
Vincent will be deeply missed by his "little family", his cousins Angelo (Debbie) Costanzo, Richard Costanzo, and Steve Costanzo, along with his many other cousins, godchildren, and dear friends here, in Italy, and around the world.
We are very blessed and thankful we had Vincent in our lives. He touched many hearts and will always be remembered as the most kind, loving, and beautiful man that he was.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation service between 5:00pm and 9:00pm on Wednesday, the 18th of January at the Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara. The vigil service will begin at 7:00pm.
Mass of Resurrection will be held on Thursday, the 19th of January at 11:00am at St. Clare's Church: 941 Lexington St., Santa Clara 95050.

I "accidently" met Vince when a flight we were on was delayed in Hong Kong in 1967. We couldn't leave until the next morning so he suggested we share a room at rhe airport. Every year after that,we exchanged Christmas cards and his was ALWAYS the first one to arrive until this year. We also emailed over the last decades. In the 1990,s my wife and I finally got a chance to visit him in CA. We will miss Vince very much but are so glad we were able to have this relationship. He will be greatly missed.

I was one of Vince's godsons. So many memories...the birthday and Christmas cards Vince sent every year, without fail. I remember a few gifts he gave me over the years...money clips, key rings,,and the the like. I remember going to the Aramco HQ in NYC before we left for Arabia...Vince looked after me for a while while my dad took care of some Aramco business. We played cards. Then, while in Arabia, I saw Vince at the swimming pool working on his tan. Lastly, I remember when he came to my father's funeral...I was stoic but when he offered his condolences I broke down and felt better. While I lived in San Francisco I would visit him at his house and we'd sometimes go to lunch. He loved his cousins and always put them first. He will be missed!

To Family and loved ones: I met Vince in Dhahran in 1973. He was in Dollar Payroll and I was a programmer learning Dollar Payroll. Never a cross word, always supportive. Really our loss.
