Violet C. Terrill, a longtime resident of Atwater and Merced. Violet passed away on Mother's Day, May 14th in Pahrump Nevada. A woman of boundless energy, passion, adventure, fierce loyalty and a love for finding joy in everything and every day. Violet was born in Baxter Springs, Kansas to Ellsworth and Letha Brown. She is preceded in death by her dear parents, her brother Jimmy Brown and the love of her life for almost 60 years, William Robert Terrill. She is survived by her brother George Brown and her sister Rose Huver.
Violet considered her life legacy to be her children, grandchildren and even great grandchildren. Walter Terrill, Pamela and Darl Miller, Roberta and Richard Sandoval and Teresa and Mark Romeo. Her children Carla, Nathan, Michael, Melissa, Layne, Shane, Alexandra and Angelina. She also adored her nieces and nephews and loved being a part of their lives. Mom you have given so much of yourself and asked for so little in return. You brought joy and delight to everyday. Thank you for always being here for us, for teaching us respect, kindness, compassion, strength of character and the importance of family.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with funeral services beginning at 11:30 a.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home located at 1490 B Street Merced, California 95341 with interment to follow at Merced District Cemetery located at 1300 B Street Merced, California 95341.
