Virginia Correa Fuller was born on November 30, 1926 in
Dunsmuir, CA to Leandro and Leonila Correa. In 1935 the family
came to Stockton, CA and settled in “Chivo” on East Lafayette St.
Virginia was the oldest girl and 3rd child of 8. She went to local
schools and worked at the East Theater, The Esquire Theater
and the Target bar and restaurant. It was at The Target that she
met Bill Fuller who she later married and had a family with.
After marrying, Virginia became a homemaker and a caregiver to
her mother in law and also to her mother.
As a young mother Virginia could be seen outside roller skating,
or playing street baseball with her children and those in the
neighborhood. Virginia loved needlework, she enjoyed sewing,
embroidering and crocheting. She was also an avid reader.
She loved talking about the old days in Chivo and about her old
friends and neighbors she had during her life.
Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill,
siblings Paul, Salvador and Frances and a host of other relatives.
Virginia will be deeply missed by her siblings Elvera Deleon,
Tony (Griselda) Correa, Alice Castellon, and Manuel Correa.
Virginia is survived by her children, David and Debbie Fuller,
Nila and Joe Cordova and Lillie Fuller. She will be deeply missed
by her grandchildren Carla and Clif Hayden, Justin Fuller,
Jocelyn and Steven Payne, Joseph, William, Andrea and Alyssa
Cordova, David, Dale, and Patrick Hobson, Shelly Williams,
Brandi Fuller and great grandchildren Logan and Layla Payne,
Canyon Fuller, Sheldon Williams, Andrew and Julian Hobson.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Hospice of
San Joaquin especially Cindy, Regina and Josh. Thank you so
much for the loving care of our mother. We are grateful to our

I'm certain that she appreciated every you more than you could ever imagine.
From stories you have shared with me, I just know that you have a lot of very caring relatives and friends. God be with you all as you go through this sad time. LuvNStuff Sally

My dear Auntie Virginia, like I said when I visited you, thank you for having me in your house so many summers, putting up with Lillie and my arguments and still having be back each year! Thank you for taking such good care of me. Thank you for those yummy beans and tortilla's. They were my favorite! If I had not got those two items to eat every time I visited I would have been very disappointed. You were a wonderful wife and mother and a great example for me and your own children. I know you will be missed on earth by many family members and friends, but how lucky you are to not suffer anymore and to be rejoined with Uncle Bill and so............ many others who have been looking forward to seeing you again in Heaven. RIP and enjoy your new journey.

As difficult as it is to no longer have Ms. Virginia there to hold, I know the many years filled with love and laughter you shared together will keep her with you always! I spoke with Ms. Virginia on the phone a few times, but it was through our many conversations where I feel I got to know and love your mom. She will be missed, but she goes to prepare our room, in the kingdom of our Savior and is always at your side!!
I love you Lillie, David, Dale and Julian you and all her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren as well as her other family members, will remain in my prayers. May peace be yours!
Love,
