Ms. Virginia Kobe passed away at home on January 29, 2018 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Virginia was born May 22, 1933 to Frank and Lorinda Bemis in St. Cloud, Minnesota. For many years, she summered in Minnesota and wintered in Port Aransas, Texas. She lived life on her own terms and was a keen business woman. She loved gardening and played a mean game of cards and bingo. She had an eye for anything bright and eclectic, was hospitable, generous, and most of all feisty.
She is survived by her sisters Betty Bach of Minnesota and Edith Lucas of Colorado as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed.

I have many fond memories of Aunt Virginia. Many a pleasant summer day was spent swimming in the lake behind her cabin at Annandale, Minnesota. Each winter would find family members at the "headquarters" in St. Cloud, Minnesota, where Virginia and her siblings grew up. Aunt Virginia will be deeply missed.
