She was born in Pineville on April 17, 1918 to John and Clara McManus. She is survived by two daughters, Elaine Perkins (Dennis) and Joy Crom, two grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, all of Charlotte, NC, also her beloved dog "Buddy" and cat "Precious".
