Obituary

Virginia Lee (Ginger) Gardner, 85 of Austin passed away Monday, July 2, 2012. She was born September 13, 1926 in Cawker City, Kansas to Daniel and Hope Welch.

Ginger will be greatly missed by her family that survives her including her daughter Cheryl Allen and husband William; son Gary Gardner and wife Mary Lee; granddaughter Tessa Lawrence and husband Randy; great-grandchildren A.J. and Allie Lawrence; sister Marilyn Whitmill and husband Don; brother Larry Welch and wife Vyonda; step-son Bill Gardner and a very special friend and companion Noble Campbell.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Jess Gardner and her parents.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Friday, July 6, 2012 at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Memorial Chapel.
