Tara and Family, Virginia will be missed by everyone here at ACC. She was such a strong and brave person. If I was down about something she would be the first one to put positive thoughts in my head! I will truly miss her and her friendship.

I was so sorry to hear of Virginia's passing. I know she fought the good fight. She had such a positive outlook on life and I just couldn't imagine her not winning again. She was such a special person with a smile that would light up the room. She was one of those people who would bend over backwards to help you in any way she could. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Virginia first crossed my path in the Air Force at Bergstom Air Force Base (Austin TX) at the supply squadron building. I never thought we would be working at the same building at Austin Community College decades later. She had a valiant heart, a vibrant spirit and a love for her family. She raged against the dying of the light and is now at peace. My prayers go out to for the family.

I connected with Virginia once a year for my asset inventory with ACC- PIN and FBG campuses. We became friends with her regular but brief visits. She truly touched my life over the years, with her courage and bravery. I admired her strength and commitment to her job. The last time she came out to Fredericksburg, I sent her home with some fresh peaches she knew she couldn't eat but wanted them for her family. She touched my heart in many ways and I am going to miss her dearly.
