Wesley D. Roberts of Ontario, CA passed away Friday, July 13, 2012 at the age of 86. He was born in Liberty Boro, Pennsylvania on August 17, 1925 to the late William & Katherine Roberts. He resided in Pennsylvania until 1962, moving to El Paso, Texas where he resided with his wife and two sons until 1971 when he moved his family to Ontario, California. Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his son, William, his parents and 4 siblings. Wesley D. Roberts of Ontario, CA passed away Friday, July 13, 2012 at the age of 86. He was born in Liberty Boro, Pennsylvania on August 17, 1925 to the late William & Katherine Roberts. He resided in Pennsylvania until 1962, moving to El Paso, Texas where he resided with his wife and two sons until 1971 when he moved his family to Ontario, California. Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his son, William, his parents and 4 siblings. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; of 62 years; one son, Jeffrey (Christina) of Hemet; one grandson, Jason (Christina) of Canyon Hills; one granddaughter, Dejah Phillips (Joseph) of Sun City; two great-grandsons Jayden and Logan Roberts, a sister, Shirley Barnes, of McKeesport PA and numerous nephews and nieces in several states. Mr. Roberts was a member of Westminster Presbyterian church since 1985 where he was a Deacon and a past member of the Upland Travelers Club. He was a plaster contractor before entering the optical industry in 1965 from witch he retired in 2000. Private graveside services will be held at Bellevue Cemetery at 11:00am, Friday, July 20, 2012 with a memorial service fallowing at Westminster Church 720 N. Sultana, Ontario at 2:00pm.... In Leui of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Companion Hospice, 4199 Flat Rock Drive #200, Riverside CA 92505 or The National Kidney Foundation, 15490 Ventura Blvd. Suite 210, Sherman Oaks, CA 91403-3016.
