Wade was born September 26, 1955 in KCK to Arbie and Martha Chavers. A lifelong KC resident, he graduated from Wyandotte HS in 1973 and joined the Navy shortly thereafter. Wade worked for the Jackson County Courthouse, Wilcox Electric and Boatsman Bank as a computer operator and was lately working at Wackenhut Security and Diamond Executive Services as a security guard. He was an avid reader and student of history. Wade enjoyed the arts, especially music, from Cajun to classic rock. Wade loved playing games, particularly dominoes. He possessed a quick wit and could make anyone laugh. Until recently, Wade could most often be seen with a canine companion.
Wade was preceded in death by his mother Martha Chavers, whom he lost in 1980. He is survived by his father, Arbie L. Chavers and his step-mother, Lewise of KCK; his step-sisters, Pearl A. King and her husband Glenn of Parkville, MO and Linda L. Woodson and her husband Tom of Bonner Springs, KS.
Fond memories and condolences may be left for Wade at www.chapelhill-butler.com, as arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill-Butler, 701 N 94th St., KCK 66112.
