Dear Cousins,
What fond memories we have of Uncle Wally and his many visits back to Minnesota. He didn't miss much in life traveling these past three years solo without Mae by his side. We appreciate the visits we were able to have with him and will remember them fondly. We are truly sorry for your loss and that we were unable to be there to celebrate his life. Now he and Mae are reunited and celebrating together.
Love and Blessings to You All.

Dear Berg family....It is with a very heavy heart that I learned of your fathers death. Wally was like a second father to me over the years. He and Mae always made you feel like one of their children...always welcome and eager to see you! I am so sorry that I will not be able to attend his service but please know that I will be there in spirit and thinking about all of you and your families. I know that Wally and Mae are both smiling down and are with each other forever. Rest in peace Wally. You were a true and loving friend and you both will never be forgotten.

Wally was more like a brother to me than a in-law. He will be missed. If ever there was someone who "would give you the shirt off his back" that was Wally.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Wally, he will be greatly missed. Wally was blessed to live a long interesting life. Psalms 90:10 says that those who live to be 80 and older have "extra strength", Wally had that extra strength. May you keep fond memories of him always in your heart as you seek the comfort only God can give at this time of sorrow.
