Wallace Flagg, Sr., 74, of Utica, passed away Thursday. He retired from Chrysler Corp. and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was predeceased by his father, William; sister, Viola Linder; and brothers, Holis and Danny.
Survivors: His wife, Gloria J. Flagg; his mother, Louise Flagg; children, David Flagg, Giaconda (Kelvin) Branch, Vesta (Steve) Smith, Yolanda Flagg, Laytonia Flagg, Wallace Flagg, Jr., Marla Flagg, Eric Williams, and Wallis Hakeem Flagg; sister, Dorothy (Joe Allen) Flagg; brothers, Billy (Emma) Flagg, Ronald Flagg, Thomas (Renee) Flagg, Robert (Joyce) Flagg, and Frank Mitchell; 34 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
Calling hours: Saturday 10 a.m. to 12 noon with funeral services to follow at 12 noon at Hopps Memorial Church, 1110 S. State Street, Syracuse. Burial will be private.
Farone & son Funeral Home has arrangements.
