Walter H. Baudat, Sr., 78, of Cleveland, Texas passed into eternal rest on September 8, 2017. He was born in Houston, Texas on June 28, 1939. Walter attended Aldine High School. He married Betty J. Baudat on February 14, 1995. Walter had a life-long career as a Master Plumber and worked at Suburban Homes, Houston Stafford Plumbing and a business owner of T & W Water Service.
Left to cherish his memories are wife of 22 years Betty J. Baudat; children: Walter Jr. & Carol Baudat, Paul Baudat & Robin Weichert, Kenny Baudat, Jessie Matranga, Charlotte & Steve Tidwell; siblings: Ned & Gerene Baudat, Thomas & Elaine Baudat; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Violet Baudat, daughter Katherine Gail Glenn and brother Robert Baudat.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. The funeral service will be Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home with interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park. There will be a Celebration of Life Dinner at Second Baptist Church of Kingwood at 4:00 p.m. after the services.
