Walter Louis Magee Jr., 88, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 11, 2017. He is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Frances Loraine Magee, and his son, Gerald Louis Magee. He is survived by his daughter, Marilyn Hoffmeister, grandchildren; LCDR Christopher Wayne Hoffmeister (Dorion Amanda), and Amy Nicole Gilmore, and great grandchildren; Jonah Watson Hoffmeister and Colin Lee Gilmore. Walter was a graduate of Miller High School in Corpus Christi, and a member of Cypress United Methodist Church. Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Wednesday, at Heights Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday 10:30am at Cypress United Methodist Church, 13403 Cypress North Houston, Cypress, Texas 77429. Interment will follow at Forest Park Cemetery.
