Walter Bereskow passed away on March 19, 2014 after a short illness. He was born in Germany and then immigrated to Canada at the age of two. Walter grew up in Calgary and graduated from Western Canada High. After graduation he worked for Traco Ind., Irving wire, Ecco Supply and finally for Alggin Heating. In attendance were the Honourable MP Joan Crockatt and the Honourable Judge May Wey presiding over the ceremony. When asked why he wanted to be a Canadian his reply was I Love Canada. When asked what he liked about Canada his reply was the People.
